Approach
The learning process for adults differs a lot from the way children learn. While children and young people still learn very much by imitation and by trial and error most adults have a very different learning attitude, which develops from experiences. These experiences must be understood rationally, be adjusted with already made experiences and then being tested in reality. In the workshops, which I offer with experienced colleagues from practice or alone, I use a variety of methods and alternation between theoretical input, discussion and practical application. Trained as trainer in adult education with the national center for political education in Berlin and with different other education centres I can look back on many years as a trainer (inhouse and external) and group leaders. For me a high amount of self responsibility of the participants and a participatory training are important.
